Cheryl Lancaster
I am currently an hourly-paid teaching fellow in History & Philosophy of Science & Medicine at the Department of Philosophy, Durham University, and was Director of the Masters degree course in History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine.
Between September 2018 and June 2019, I was an IASH Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. You can find out more about this here.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral research associate in bioethics in the Durham Law School, Durham University, UK.
My research focuses on historical, philosophical, and legal dimensions of biomedical sciences, such as stem cell research, embryology, and cloning.
I’m also interested the role of history and sociology of science in science policy and research, issues at the intersection of philosophy of science and the law, scientific misconduct and research ethics.
